OUR PHILOSOPHY
The basic philosophy is to create an environment for each consumer to reach his/her maximum potential and desires. We believe in the language of the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act of the least restrictive environment. Our commitment is to provide services that are age-appropriate, foster independence, exposure to integration within the community, encourage self-advocacy, self-empowerment and normalization. Furthermore, we believe that each consumer is an “individual” and should have support.
B.O.T. is determined to provide the very best in services for consumers. Our motto is “we meet state objectives while always seeking to achieve higher standards.” The B.O.T. provides a continuum of programming, which includes innovative, creative tested and tried approaches in the field. To accomplish our goal, we will maintain a staff that is committed, motivated and willing to carry out our mission.
